Pictures from Hudson's 2nd Birthday

We, of course, had to do a Thomas the Train party for Hudson's 2nd. After I had bought all the Thomas stuff, I showed him a Thomas cake and a Nemo cake and he picked the Nemo cake. The little stinker (I bought the Thomas one). It was crazy to see how many kids my close group of friends and family have had over the past two years... I wish I would have remembered to get them all together to take photo. Bummer.

Born April 5th and weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces, 20 inches, Blakley is already so loved. Congratulations Lauren and Brent!!

Hudson is TWO!

I think JR and I are still in shock that our baby boy is 2 years old today. It seriously seems like yesterday that we were in that delivery room meeting him for the first time. We have both been super emotional about it and find ourselves talking about how cool we think he is, how smart he is, and how much we love him. So he had a fun filled day on his second birthday... with lots more to come this weekend!

Typical Day

For Cannon a typical day is eating his toys, playing with his feet, staring at his brother, sittin' big in the bumbo and 'talking' up a storm.





For Hudson, a typical day involves being outside - with Canman and I following in the Bjorn. Taking pictures of us outside hasnt been happening. So here is what else we do when we can get Hudson indoors: painting, reading, trains, eating food and lots of general mischief.

Big Bear

Another trip to Big Bear this past weekend. The weather was great - sunny but chilly (and then a snow storm on Sunday) and nice and relaxing...

ROWEN PISTOL GALE

Born March 23 at 9pm weighing 7 pounds 14 ounces and 19.25 inches long. He is so cute and so strong and has such a loud cry, it was wonderful to hear. Everyone is doing great! Gia is going to be so excited. (Plus, Rowen and his cousin Cannon are exactly 4 months apart!)

4 Months!

My little baby is 4 months old today!! Cannon is smiling and laughing so much, as you can see from the pictures. My kids may not sleep but they sure are happy! JR thinks Cannon is trying to crawl already and swears he crawled a little earlier this evening. He says Cannon was on his stomach and put his knees up and moved about a foot across the floor. I brought my camera out but then Cannon got tired so I didnt see any of it. JR then said, "Oh no, not another one" since Hudson was active and early in the crawling and walking department too...

Baby Loves Disco

Hudson went to his first 'disco' on Saturday night. Baby Loves Disco was at the Orange County Shark Club. It was grandparents night so my parents took Gia and Hud to get their groove on. What a great idea!

Buzz

We did it. We buzzed Hudson's hair tonight. All of it. JR likes it... I am not such a fan (yet). I think it makes him look older. JR thinks it makes him look younger. Whatever - it is just hair - it grows back.

Cannon the Dinosaur

Cannon is now 'talking' up a storm over here. He is so loud and it is so cute and Hudson thinks it is hilarious!

Bath Time

Bath time around here is getting fun with two in at the same time! Hudson is really great about sharing the bath with Cannon and Cannon LOVES the bath.

The Magic of Tic Tacs

Yes, the little orange candy, called "tic tics" by Hudson, allowed us to take some family photos yesterday without any meltdowns. Hudson said CHEESE so many times, he had us laughing out loud -- all for a little tic tac. Our photographer, was great and sent us a couple photos last night for us to look at.
