Get In Bed

My boys are sleeping so much better than they used to. At least one of them gets up at night still, usually minutes after I fall asleep (how do they know?!?!) but so much better than before that I am not complaining.

Cannon is still in an awkward stage, where he needs a nap during the day, but when he takes one, he stays up until 11 at night. Ridiculously late in our household. Here is what we find when we go to bed and check on Cannon recently:

At nap time - he practically fell off the couch - but stayed asleep:

The car is a dangerous place if we are trying to keep Cannon awake and have him skip a nap.

What a Difference 6 Months Makes

I was looking through the pictures on my cell phone last night and found some amazing photos from just a few months ago. Hudson and Cannon had long hair.

It is crazy!

They look like babies and it was seriously just 6 short months ago!

I think the biggest difference is in Hudson.

But Cannon looks so much younger too.

Clearly, it was the style... all their friends had long hair in school too.

Another Fun River Trip

We finally made it out to the river again... It was definitely hot, but not as hot as it usually is this time of year.

On the way into town, the shaved ice place was open (it's never opened) -- so we had to stop!

These Two

Rowen and Cannon are so cute together. They get along so well and just love hanging out. Their cute little voices and their big-kid conversations are hilarious to listen to and bring tears to my eyes. When Rowen spent the night last week, I heard from the bedroom they shared, "Goodnight Cannon, I love you." And "Goodnight Rowen, I love you too." These two are just so sweet.

These two are pretty cute too. Whispering and giggling together.

It was the last concert in the park this week and we all had a great time. The kids did stunts with the cheerleadres.

And the family had a great time!!
