Concerts in the Park

Now that everyone is healthy we are really enjoying summer. This week we went to a local concert in the park. It was so much fun with a kids' art table (face painting and decorating paper guitars), gourmet food trucks, a beer/wine garden and live music. We can't wait for next week!

String Art at Grandma and Grandpa's

The cousins got together for another fun BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa's house. My mom passed out a roll of string to each of the kiddos and we watched them make "art" all around the house. It kept them busy for awhile and then she passed out kiddy-safe scissors and they cut the string down and cleaned it up.

4th of July

It was a mellow 4th of July this year. We still did some fireworks and had some fun and the boys were so excited to be together again after Cannon being in the hospital for a week.

Worst Week Ever

Cannon was hospitalized last week for a staph infection. It was a horrible week, one I hope we never have to go through again. There is no feeling like not being able to fix your child or take away the pain. We are home now and he is doing great. We truly appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Great Friends at the River

We are so lucky to have so many great friends. A group of us went to the river last weekend and it was a wonderful and relaxing and fun time! We also did this trip right before Dave and Elishia move back east. We are going to miss you guys so much and are so happy we got this weekend in before you left! These two cousins have come such a long way and are becoming the best of friends like the older two. They enjoyed a nice getaway to San Diego, going to the zoo and sea world and just spending quality time together.

Last weekend, while I was having fun in Napa with the girls, JR took the boys to the driving range where they got to try out their clubs. Cannon was saying, of course, "I do it myself" and took no direction. Hudson was a little better. They all had a great time!
