Holiday Party

We had JR's company Christmas party in Fullerton this year. It is always a fun event and this year looking around at all the people was a good reminder to us that all of JR's hard work is going to something so big. So many families and so many jobs. It was an amazing night!

Christmas Tree

We did something a little different this year after watching the show on tv called Shark Tank. I hate to see Christmas trees discarded in the street after Christmas, and someone on Shark Tank decided to 'rent' trees to people and replant them during the year. We decided to rent a live tree and it worked out great!

Cannon Turns Four

Cannon looking older on his 4th Birthday!

His birthday fell over Thanksgiving weekend when we were at the River. It was a beautiful weekend and I am so happy we were there!

Smore's and cupcakes!

While at the River, we went to nearby Oatman, an old-west town. The boys panned for gold and lucky Cannon found some on his Birthday!

When we got back, I made Ninjago cupcakes for Cannon to take to school:

And then of course we had his party at Sky High (where Hudson's was last year). Super hero theme:

Carlsbad Inn

We stayed at the Carlsbad Inn a few weeks ago for one night. It is a great little hotel on the beach (thank you Groupon!) and we had a great time.

We were able to walk everywhere and I just wish we had more time there because it is such a cute little town.

Halloween

Happy Halloween! The boys had fun yesterday!

Started with a parade at Hudson's school.

Then hanging out with our neighbors.

I volunteered in Hudson's class all day, so I dressed up too.

Shark Attack ~ Soccer

Soccer season is almost over and this season was awesome! The kids on our team are sooo good, and it is fun for them to play and it is fun for us to watch. JR is the coach and he is so great with the kids and because soccer is his sport, I think he is having a lot of fun too. The kids love him.

When your dad is the coach, and your mom is team parent, you get the extra uniform. Cannon is the mascot.

River ~ October

We went to the river this weekend after not being there all summer. We have been so busy with soccer (which JR is coaching) so it is hard to miss a game and get to the river. We picked the perfect weekend; the weather was fantastic.
