Fat Lips
I have been busy chasing Hudson around and as I mentioned before, he is running.... and therefore falling more... Here are his fat lips -- yes, lips not lip. He fell once and hit the top lip and then two days later he fell and hit the bottom lip.

Unfortunately, the falls have not slowed him down one bit... still running around like a crazy man!

Sharing Food
These pictures are just too cute to not share!
Cousin Gianna loves to feed her newest "doll" -- Hudson. He is the best doll ever because he eats whatever she feeds him!

Auntie Catt gave Hudson his first tattoo!

Biggest smile ever!

Cruising around the house doing laps... he never stops! And he looks soo old in this photo!

11 Months ~ Peek-a-Boo
Hudson is only a month away from being 1! I am excited and sad - it is so fun to have him walking around and responding (he nods yes and no) which means he is less frustrated as his communication skills improve.
And I got him a doll. I dont see anything wrong with it and it seems that all of his friends that are girls like their dolls a lot. So when I stumbled upon a male doll in a baseball uniform, I picked it up and brought it home. He doesnt like it that much - but it is good for learning. He points out the doll's nose, eyes, toes, mouth and ear.

His newest thing is Peek-a-Boo. He does it all the time.

He's Baaaaaaack
Hudson is FINALLY feeling better and it is great. He hasnt thrown up since Sunday night and hasnt had diarrhea since Monday. Yeah! We have our child back! He has energy, he is walking and talking again... it is crazy how much the flu hit him.
We went to the doctor on Monday and of course, there isnt much they can do for the flu... but they did weigh him. And he is back down to 19 pounds. That is less than he weighed at his 9 month appointment almost two months ago. Poor guy hasnt kept anything down for a week!

Flu Season
Hudson has the flu. He is projectile vomiting all over me, multiple times a day. And the diarrhea started yesterday. So sad. I am sure he has no clue what is going on. He cannot keep anything down (except leftover breastmilk that was frozen in the freezer - which is now unfortunately all gone). Hopefully he gets better soon! In the meantime, it is kinda nice that he is snuggly and wants to be held all the time (though my arms are tired and sore).

Legoland
Saturday the family got in the car and drove to Legoland to use some tickets JR won. The park is so much bigger than I expected and the weather was perfect - we all had a great day! Even though Hudson was only big enough to go on a couple rides, there was plenty for him to do and see.
On the way to Legoland...Hudson slept.

Guess everyone was tired when we got home!

Cruisin'
Hudson is cruising along, getting better and better at walking. He is hardly crawling anymore - even when he falls, he now just stands up and keeps walking rather than crawling to wherever he was headed. It is really hard to get him to sit or to keep him in one place - he is constantly on the move - which means, so am I.

The Gate
I spend most of my time around, near or on the gate that divides Hudson's play room from the rest of the house (as I type, Hudson is at the gate now). He is obsessed with the gate - partly because he is not supposed to go in that room alone and partly because he figured out how to open the gate by himself. This gate is better than any toy we currently have in the house.
And here is a photo that JR probably doesnt want me to post but that I love...

My Gym
I think I mentioned that Hudson started going to My Gym classes a couple weeks ago and he L-O-V-E-S them. I love them because he is exhausted when he gets home! It has helped tremendously with his social skills too - instead of being glued to me, he is off playing with other kids and the teachers. It has been great. I also think he is walking now because he watched some of the other kids and tried to copy them...

10 Months ~ Walking
Hudson is 10 months old already. He is such a big boy now and I cannot believe his first birthday is coming up! He is also walking a lot more now. Still falling but doing great and I am so proud of him! Here he is taking lots of steps - and holding something in his hands while doing it!

Counting Steps
Hudson took NINE steps in a row today! He did a couple sets of SEVEN, but NINE was the most! He is getting brave and starting to do it more and more. He is so proud of himself and gets so excited that after he falls he claps for himself. And of course, I have no pictures or video of this because I cannot find the charger for my camera. We busted out the big recorder tonight, so hopefully we will get some footage.
