This came home in Hudson's homework packet last week. He is such a sweet boy and to hear him write out his own thoughts is the best. Especially with words like this...
We spent Easter at the river this year and had fantastic weather. It was nice to be nice and warm in the sun after the windy and colder weather we have had at home.
We put the boys in the master closet this time. It worked out perfectly.
My aunt is sooo talented! She had the boys draw her pictures. I think they are easter bunnies. And she made bunnies that look just like their drawings. They absolutely love them and sleep with them at night. Actually, Cannon has his with him all day! So cute!

The finished product. Identical to their drawings!
The cousins went to Irvine Park Railroad last week before Easter. They have the normal train and horse rides but they also have the easter bunny, an easter egg hunt and bounce houses.
A few weeks ago, Hudson was getting out of bed at night. A lot. We would do our nightly routine, put Hudson in bed and about a half hour later, he would come downstairs. And then again a half hour after that. And then a half hour after that. He was going to bed sooo much later than normal and I was having to wake him up every morning for school. We knew he was tired but we couldnt get him to stay in bed. He would come up with all sorts of excuses when he came down: From "I'm hungry" or "my nails need to be cut" to "God made me not tired so I have to stay up with you."
JR made a chart and told him if he stayed in bed for 7 days, we'd all go miniature golfing. He never got up again. The boys had so much fun. And luckily it wasnt crowded that night because the boys had no patience and were rushing through every hole and not waiting for us. Here's our mini golf outing.
We have been bike riding in the back bay since Cannon is a two-wheeling machine but recently we went for a walk in the back bay. It is beautiful where we live and I am so happy we have been utilizing it recently.
I love this picture and the fact that Hudson isnt too big to hold our hand. I dread the day he doesnt want to hold our hand!
Sunday was St Patrick's day so the kids made leprechaun traps last week. Hudson set his out at school so he wont find out if he caught anything until school today.
On Sunday the boys went to pick vegetables at Auntie Shelley's and make gingerbread cookies. JR and I went golfing while they were over there.
Hudson asked me to trace his body on some large paper that he found. He then felt his bones and drew them in! Cannon did the same but colored his body in.
Saturday night we went over to a friend's house and the boys all made snakes out of easter eggs.
More sports for Saturday... lots of fun! This is how full our car was for the game! You'd think we were going out of town for a week with all that stuff!
